Compromise: Yes or No?

Compromise: Yes or No?

In this day and age of Political Correctness, the word of the day is compromise. Compromise is quite the opposite of being stalwart and standing for what we believe is right, as believers in The Lord Jesus Christ as Our Personal Savior.

As believers, we know the Word of God is very specific about how God feels about a multitude of subjects. Indeed, as my Pastor often says: “The Bible is God's Instruction Manual for life!” Anything you need to know, you as a believer have the provision of being advised from God's Word on exactly how to conduct yourself in various matters.

However, what God has to say ( in these days and times where it is every man and jack for him or herself, and anything goes ) is “A hard saying!”

Christians, Our Heavenly Father is not about treating us with kid gloves, nor is He playing patty cake with us! Why? Because our enemy, The Prince of The Power of The Air is not playing with us either! He wants to SLAUGHTER US! As we draw closer to Our Lord's return, Satan has turned up the heat and pulled out all stops! His intent, to take us out of the race, permanently!

That is why it is so important for us as believers to STAND OUR GROUND and HOLD FAST TO OUR FAITH! Not ROLL OVER AND PLAY DEAD IN ORDER TO FIT IN AND BE ACCEPTED BY THE WORLD SYSTEM!

The world system around us is deteriorating into chaos, anarchy and lawlessness. Things that we wouldn't have dreamed of twenty and ten years ago, are now done so publicly, that when people see it, they just shrug! Some of it with the help of government legislation! Yes! Our lawmakers are legislating SIN!

One item I speak of in particular is Gay Marriage. God already condemned homosexuality in the Bible as an ABOMINATION. Homosexuality is the very reason God utterly destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah! That city now lies at the bottom of the Dead Sea. It's called the Dead Sea because nothing can survive in it's high salinity content!

However, even though God has condemned the aforementioned, and millions of people suffered God's chastisement by dying from AIDS. Many rallied, lobbied, add lots of political backslapping, glad-handing, and under the table deals and back room wheeling and dealing, so that the Gay Marriage Bill was finally passed in New York City. Thus making it legal for same sex couples to marry and entitled to the same benefits as heterosexual couples. But get this, even though it is legal in the eyes of man for a same sex couple to marry, it is not in GODS EYES! To God, it is SIN!

Our duty as believers is to not be all fluffy and nice-nicey with the world in order to compromise and throw in our lot with them. Our duty is first, to hear what God says about it. Second, receive and believe what God says about the matter. Third, agree with God says and take a stand against it with Him because it is SIN! Period!

I'm not saying to be homophobic. But, as someone said: “We hate the sin, but love the sinner.” We don't agree with them and compromise our faith, we stand firm and let them have it ( according to God's leading ), and pray to be used a a vessel to evangelize and perhaps bring them to Christ.

Another area is dressing. Believers have no business dressing like the world. Unlike the Gentiles, our bodies are the temple of The Holy Spirit, and the Bible tells us to honor our temples. “You are not your own, you were bought with a price.” the bible says. Since Jesus bought us with His blood on the cross, HE now owns us and tells us what to wear.

Ladies should not be dressing like prostitutes and Gentleman should not be dressing like thugs. Why? Because you are a REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD and you don't want to give the GENTILES THE WRONG IDEAS!

The World System is excellent at being analytical. A Gentile woman will look at a so-called Christian woman with her ultra short skirt and her bosom exposed and ask: “What's the point of being a Christian if there is no difference between you and me?”

The same goes for a Gentile man who dresses like a thug. He would look at his so-called Christian friend who dresses just like him and wonder: “Why bother?”

It's all about having respect for the body God blessed you with and not treating it like a piece of MEAT like the world does. God never meant for us to treat our bodies in that manner, nor anyone else’s.

I'm not saying we should dress swathed from head to toe in yards of cloth. There are many tasteful and attractive outfits believers can wear without exposing one's private parts in public. The reason they are called "private parts" are for them to be uncovered in "private" for your spouse.

Yes, even though the trend of the day is to expose oneself more and more, we must maintain our dignity in Christ. Yes, even in church. . . . . . . HELLO!  You read right. That stuff DOES NOT BELONG IN THE CHURCH WHICH IS HOLY GROUND!

So, if you come in the church in a really short dress, or very low neckline, don't be surprised if one of the Church Mothers eases over to you and quietly tells you, ”You need to tone that down next time, Little Sister.” And guys, don't be surprised if one of the Elders comes over and tells you to pull your pants up, buckle your belt, and take that doo-rag and baseball cap off your head!

They are NOT being nosy bodies! They are knights and protectors of the realm of the Kingdom of God!  Since God does "everything decently and in order”, they have placed in authority by Him to keep order in His House.  Thus, they have a right to tell you these things. Why?  Because the church is for the Believers to assemble, hear God's Word, worship and glorify God, not to showcase the flesh! Period. Dot.

Hello! Is anyone there?

I have more to say, but I think I've said enough. . . . . .

Peace ya'll . . . . . . .
