What I say here is the result of over 30 years of bible teaching and walking with my Savior. I can't help but to pour out what God has poured in! The Bible says: It's like fire (fy-ah) shut up in my bones, and I've gotta tell it! Yes, it's rough, but the Bible also says: The Truth Shall Set You Free!
I also happen to be an African American, Conservative who loves America and Israel. No, I'm not running for office because the office I have now (as a servant of God) takes priority over every and any government known to man. However, I am also called to be a responsible citizen here in America, by working, paying my taxes, voting, etc, but my home is not here. My true citizenship is in Heaven, thus I'm just passing through.
However, I as a believer am not called to passivity! If something is unjust and Godless, I'm called by Him to stand up and call it out, just like the prophets of old. Yay, though I suffer persecution, become an outcast, or be struck down, as my Savior was over 2000 years ago.
The Bible does say the Servant (the believer) will suffer the same fate as the Master (Jesus), so why be dismayed? I should not expect anything less. I look to My God in Heaven for my satisfaction.
